Looking for a Commercial HVAC Contractor for 2024? Consider Loughborough Air Conditioning

Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) plays an integral role in a wide range of commercial and industrial settings. From leisure centres to manufacturing plants, these systems create comfortable, safe and productive environments - provided they are designed, installed and maintained properly.

For building owners and managers, finding the right HVAC contractor is key - a team that not only has the required skills and expertise, but that also provides a reliable, professional service.

At Loughborough Air Conditioning we pride ourselves on going above and beyond industry standards, working as your HVAC partner rather than a contractor. If you’re looking to appoint a new preferred supplier for 2024, here’s how we can help.

Our Commercial and Industrial HVAC Services

We provide a broad range of HVAC services for businesses across the East Midlands, and have had the pleasure of working with a diverse set of clients over the last 20 years or so. Our experience spans manufacturing, pharmaceutical, engineering, research and development and commercial sectors.

Air Conditioning: our industrial and commercial air conditioning services cover consultancy, design/application, commissioning, installation and decommissioning.

Whether a split type heat pump system for a single office, or a VRF solution for a large multi-storey building, our advice is both expert and impartial. We source equipment directly from the manufacturer wherever possible, ensuring high commercial grade quality at a reasonable cost and operating free of any manufacturer ties.

For more exacting requirements, we have a wealth of equipment knowledge and design experience. From the management of extreme ambients for product storage and testing, to close control air conditioning in data centres, we’ve successfully executed many challenging applications.

Mechanical Heat Recovery Ventilation: We design, install and commission tailor made ventilation systems that create comfortable working environments, promote a more alert, healthier workforce and increase energy efficiency.

As ventilation needs vary by business and premises, our qualified engineers offer practical and impartial advice, suggesting bespoke designs for optimum air flow in line with building regulations.

Refrigeration: our expertise extend to specialist refrigeration and industrial cooling systems, and we offer a range of fully compliant services including:

  • The supply and maintenance of water chillers and process cooling systems
  • Supply, installation and aftercare services for ultra-low temperature cascade systems
  • Preventative maintenance for stability cabinets and environmental chambers

Planned Preventative Maintenance: We offer planned preventative maintenance contracts for air conditioning, MVHR and industrial cooling systems, specifically designed to suit individual business needs.

We provide clear, transparent contract terms with no hidden costs, and where applicable take the time to fully understand your manufacturing process - and what’s required to keep it running smoothly. A PPM contract with us also ensures priority response for emergency call out and repair.

Streamlining the HVAC Procurement Process

We understand that appointing a new contractor can be a challenge. That’s why we’ve taken steps to bring increased efficiency and transparency to your HVAC procurement process.

First, we are approved under the SafeContractor Safety Scheme in Procurement (SSIP) assessment. What this means is that you can be sure our working practices are designed for maximum risk mitigation - and that we’ve proven this through rigorous inspection.

SafeContractor also includes the standardised pre-qualification questionnaire, PAS91. This covers key environmental, ethical and financial topics all in one place, eliminating the need for multiple questionnaires.

In addition, we hold advanced accreditation with The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), one of the most recognised Safety Schemes in Procurement in the UK.

Our advanced certification gives assurance of our commitment to health and safety and, just as with SafeContractor, it includes the PAS91 pre-qualification questionnaire - so when contracting our services you can be confident in our compliance across several core areas of risk management.

Our Commitment to Excellence in Service

Alongside our CHAS and SafeContractor accreditations, we pursue excellence in service through our membership with the following bodies:

REFCOM and REFCOM Elite

Anyone responsible for the installation, commissioning, decommissioning, maintenance and repair of stationary HVAC equipment containing fluorinated gases must hold a current F-Gas Certificate.

Our REFCOM accreditation covers this basic legal requirement. We’re also members of the voluntary REFCOM Elite scheme, an accreditation awarded on rigorous inspection, promoting best practice in refrigeration management.

ACRIB

To further assure you of our skills, qualifications and technical competence, our engineers are registered under the ACRIB F-Gas Refrigeration SKILLCard scheme.

To carry this card, operators must hold a current F-Gas Certificate and pass a health and safety awareness assessment.

BESCA

As members of the BESCA Competent Person Scheme, we’re approved to self-certify air conditioning installations in regard to Part L (Conservation of Fuel and Power) and Part F (Ventilation) under Building Regulations in England and Wales.

So if a project requires Part L or Part F compliance, you’ll save time and money by not having to involve the local authority.

BESA

Our membership with the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) gives us access to an industry specific knowledge pool and regular training, allowing us to build and retain a team of fully compliant, expert engineers committed to first rate standards of service.

If you’d like more information on the services we offer, or would like to discuss a potential partnership for 2024, we’d love to hear from you.
